April 20, 2007 Dr. Christopher Smith has just returned from a mission trip to Peru, where he and his medical group performed approximately 40 orthopedic surgeries on local children.

April 14, 2007 Fleishman Family Festival from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday on the Memorial City Campus. The comprehensive family-oriented fair will include extensive physician participation, health and safety exhibits and displays, health screenings, entertainment, and refreshments.

October 14, 2006 Houston Town and Country Hospital will be having a health fair on Oct. 14 from 9-12:00pm in the hospital atrium. We will do bone density screenings and answer orthopedic questions.

September 12, 2006 Lone Star Bone & Joint Clinic has a new Physical Therapist! Sarvang (Sam) Dalal, PT, DPT, MTC is a board-certified and licensed physical therapist. His area of specialty includes outpatient orthopedic spine and extremity dysfunction. He has completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree as well as a Manual Therapy specialty certification from the University of St. Augustine. Prior to this, he attended TWU in the Texas Medical Center where he received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. His Bachelor of Science education was received at Trinity University and HBU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude along with double majors in biology and psychology. Sam Dalal is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and Physical Therapy Sports and Orthopedics Section.

September 9, 2006 Lone Star Bone & Joint Clinic will have a Saturday morning sports injury clinic for young athletes from 9:00 – 11:00am beginning on September 9.

September 3, 2006 The staff and physicians spent a great afternoon at the Astros game on Sept. 3, 2006. The Astros beat the Mets 2-1!

July 19, 2006 Dr. Stafford is now seeing patients at a new location on Fallbrook Dr. in northwest Houston. He is available to see patients at the new location on Thursday afternoons. Make an appointment by contacting the main Lone Star Bone & Joint Clinic office on Business Center Drive.

May 19, 2005 Dr. Clark McKeever will be doing a talk on Osteoporosis from 12pm - 1pm on May 19, 2005 at Spring Branch Medical Center. Lone Star Bone & Joint Clinic will offer an osteoporosis screening before the talk. Call us for more information.

June 2004 Dr. Christopher Smith led a mission called Operation Rainbow, a private American organization with the mission of relieving pain and suffering in children through free surgical procedures in underprivileged countries. Dr. Smith and Dr. Grant McKeever were in Trinidad and performed 38 surgeries with their team.
